LEGO Scenario: Components

The Basic Wheel Setup

The main wheels are simply made up of 3 components: a Dots bracelet wrapped around a wheel, with a technic axle going through it. Below shows how to connect an 8 and 9 Long Technic axle together to get the length of the box plus a bit extra so a steering wheel or motor can be attached to the shaft.

The base is a 16×16 plate. In the center of each side goes a 1×4 technic brick with 3 holes (shown here in black). On the 8th high level goes a 1×4 technic brick with 3 holes on the front and back of the action box (shown here in red). The total height is 10 bricks (shown in teal and purple). The top can be finished off with tiles for a flat, smooth surface (shown here in blue). Or the video split into 3 parts so you can digest in bite size chunks.
